'The last Tourist' is an online passage along hand drawn maps, texts and photographs. This website provides a personal reading of the cities that write themselves.

Now almost a hundred years later more than half of the world population lives in cities. Dutch artist Jan Rothuizen will traverse these coming months the streets of Cairo. An urban conglomeration of 17 Million people, which after 5000 years of continuous habitation remains the greatest metropolis of Africa and the Middle East.
